The Class of 2026 is currently conducting the Spring Flower Sale until April 5th.
A variety of hanging baskets are coming from McNitts Growers in Murphysboro.
We have done this hanging basket fundraiser in the past and everyone is always impressed with the size and quality of the flowers!
A variety of plants and colors will be available on pick up day, April 20th, from 9am-4pm in front of the FCHS gym. First come, first choice on plant or color. Petunias, Geraniums, Calibrachoa, Impatients, Begonia, etc will be available. We cannot guarantee a variety or color, as this is left up to the grower.
Tickets can be purchased from a freshman student, or you can email Sarah Jones (sjones@wfschools.org).
Tickets are being sold for $20 each.
Any ticket not returned on pick up day is forfeit for redemption.

School personnel were notified first thing this morning about a student at Frankfort Intermediate School potentially possessing a BB gun. Administration investigated and immediately confiscated the weapon with no further issue. Law enforcement were notified and the school is following its student disciplinary procedures. There was no threat towards any student or staff during this incident. Everyone is reminded that weapons or look-alike weapons are not to be brought on to school property. We continue to be alert to any issue that may affect student and staff safety and remind everyone that if you see something, say something and report it.

Substitute School Nurses Needed:
Possess, at minimum, licensure as an Illinois Licensed Practical Nurse or a higher nursing level designation.
Schedule:
Daily Work Day: 7:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a lunch period of 30 minutes.
Rate of Pay:
Expectations and Duties:
Listed below are the expected standards of performance for the Substitute Nurse position that may include,
but are not limited to:
Providing health care assistance for students.
Managing medication and its dispensing to students.
Maintaining required health records.
Maintaining confidentiality in carrying out responsibilities.
Also responsible for various other duties that may be requested by the administration.
