Parents, Guardians, and Students,
Originally, Fall Semester Exams at FCHS were to be mandatory for all FCHS students and scheduled for Thursday, December 16, and Friday, December 17. However, due to the amount of students and staff we have had become positive and/or symptomatic over the past week, and the uncertainty over what could change over the weekend and next week, we will be making some changes to the First Semester Exam Schedule and Policies. These changes are listed below. Please contact the FCHS Office if you have any questions.
1. We will be running the REGULAR BELL SCHEDULE on both Thursday, December 16 and Friday, December 17.
2. We will only be giving Semester Exams on Friday, December 17; Thursday December 16 will be a regular class attendance day for all students.
3. First Semester Exams will be REQUIRED for those students who are failing the 1st Semester. These students are required to be in attendance for exams on Friday, December 17. Teachers will let students know if they are in this category.
4. First Semester Exams will be OPTIONAL for students who are passing the 1st Semester. If a student in this category chooses to take an exam, it can only improve their grade, not lower it. Students in this category that choose to opt out of their exam are not required to be in attendance for the exams. Teachers will let students know if they are in this category.
